Beautiful complex notes of Peach, guava, fuji apple with hints of orange blossom on the nose and the pallet. Round viscous mouthfeel with a medium balanced acid profile.
Our two smallest blocks on our estate Fiano and Verdicchio are hand-picked when perfectly ripe.
This rich, aromatic wine grape from the world famous Compania region from southern Italy proves to be a refreshingly lithe example here in the Temecula Valley. Floral elements mix with green grass in a heady reminder of the smells of spring. The nose is answered on the palette by jasmine tinged nectarine flavors that more than invite the next sip. Once again, limited plantings producing precious little of this rare wine mean that it is not long run, but we should savor it, perhaps for its complex aromatic impression alone, while it is here.
We only bring in a ton and a half of Fiano and Verdicchio, and this vintage they were carefully fermented in two stainless steel barrels each. Small amounts of wine can take more care and attention and these two wine get it from our production team.
