Orange blossom + honey. Aromatic. Decadent and juicy. Off dry.
Vineyard Notes
2017 brought some beneficial rains, breaking the five year drought. Heat came later in August and early September and sped up the white harvest, but later cooler temperatures saw the reds in the field a bit longer to see full ripening.
Production Notes
Fermented + aged in stainless steel. The Pecorino was floated which resulted in an off dry wine.
Winemaker Notes
"The aromatic notes focus on honeydew melon with an interesting savory complexity. Tropical flavors are in abundance, but the mid-palate opens up to simply the richest finish in our entire lineup.
